The Role
ClearSpace is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in finance operations, working closely with our CFO and finance team to support the financial health of ClearSpace, so we can focus on achieving our mission of delivering in-orbit servicing!
Responsibilities
- Assist in the management of daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process and pay invoices, purchase orders, and expense claims in compliance with company policies.
- Provide general accounting support, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
- Support the CFO and finance team with administrative tasks to streamline operations.
Must Have:
- Knowledge of basic accounting processes – double entry bookkeeping, journals, etc.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to set priorities, work independently, and meet deadlines;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with advanced knowledge being an advantage!
Nice to Have:
- Fluency in French is a plus!
- Knowledge of accounting software – Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Odoo
Desired Education:
Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Closing Date: Friday 10th January 2025
Start date: Mid-late February
Duration: 4-6 months
Salary: £24,000 per annum
